I've been developing with C since 1980 and C++ since 1993. My background is non-domain specific. My interests are in the software development process and enabling developers to be able to create maintainable, cross-platform, secure, C++ software. I spend a good deal of my time in tracking futures and bringing interesting trends to the teams I work with. I worked on the transaction level modeling (TLM) sub-group of the SystemC standard (IEEE-1666). I currently lurk on the ISO C and C++ committees as well as ISO TS 17961.
